Calling All Moms!!

If you are a mother with young children at home, you will want to keep reading...

Tara Little, who is one of the VOX planting team members, has been feeling a strong desire to begin a mom's playgroup. She recently sent out the following letter to some moms in the area to let them know about this great opportunity to get together and connect...

Hey Ladies,

As a stay at home mom sometimes my life seems to get a little redundant, and I feel like I don’t often get to connect with other women who face some of the similar day-to-day challenges that I do. Although I wouldn’t change my “job” for the world, there are days when changing diapers, fixing macaroni and cheese, reading books like Brown Bear, Brown Bear and watching Sesame Street make me feel as though I am missing something relational in my life.

So, with the help of VOX Church and a couple of great friends, we have decided to form a group for women just like myself. Our playgroup will begin on Tuesday, February 1st at 9:30 AM and will go until 11:30 AM. During this time, our kids will sing songs, make a craft, have a snack, and enjoy some playtime with each other. More importantly though, the purpose of our group is for us as moms to make connections, have a support system, and best of all, enjoy some relational time with other moms.

If you think that you might be interested, please send an email with your information and any questions you may have to Info@VOXChurch.tv  and you will be contacted with more details shortly after we receive your response.

A special thanks goes to Tara for helping to form and lead this new group!
